Interview in Magapit Meeting House

Sister Missionaries' Baptism

District Meeting and Farewell for Elder Jenson

Updates from Lal-lo...saying goodbye

Some news from Dylan in Lal-lo

"Jenson got transferred because another missionary went home so there is now a shortage of missionaries so he left. My favorite part of last week was the night before Jenson left. We bought a lot of food and soft drinks and had a good time. I won't be seeing him until after he gets home. The funniest thing that happened was probably we got rained out and had to walk for forever and we were soaked but had a dinner appointment so we ate outside soaking wet."

Working in Lal-lo

Dylan was transferred to Lal-lo, Philippines. His companion is Elder Jamisola. They share an apartment with another set of missionaries, Elder Jenson and Elder Eusbio. Elder Jenson is from Sandy, Utah. I asked Dylan to tell me a little bit about his companion, Lal-lo, and the work he's doing.

"My favorite thing about my companion is he knows when to take the lead and how to transition during lessons. He is really good at adapting to other missionaries and situations so it helps make the work better. My favorite thing about Jenson is that he can find a way to relate to everyone he talks to and he isn't afraid to talk to everyone even with a language barrier. Our investigators are good, we actually could have a baptism this week. Then we should be getting some more soon. We don't need to teach here during church. The teachers fulfill their callings here so we just participate in class. The craziest thing about Lal-lo is that it super hot during the day and then super cold during night and it could rain whenever. It's like Utah weather, it's annoying."
